Snapshot of an author that I have multiple copies of the same book. I have a bunch of screenshots but they are all from Connect:Ī snapshot of the current full listing, organized by entry date. I LOVE this connect! It's the best way to add basic info, as far as I'm concerned. If you buy the Pro version of BC you get the upload to the net portion for free, you just can't add online. This also allows you to upload the content from your personal database to the net to view on the fly. You can then download the info from the net onto your personal database. The connect feature allows you to add books online from what ever computer you are at. this cost extra (I paid $4.80 for a year on sale. The thing I love about it the most is that it has a "connect" segment. There's no database to pull from so.its 100% manual. Or you can put it in the format section (I'm labeling as Ebook: ePub or Ebook: Kindle)Ĭalibre is a lot more difficult in adding non-ebook information. If they have ISBNs as well.you can locate via the standard ASIN and then add a column (Pro version) or a note that it is a kindle version. This only means that it's a manual input for all Amazon books that only have ASINs. Anything that is not in the database can be uploaded to the database.ĮXCEPT: In speaking with a friend who has used BC for a while, Amazon and BC had the same falling out that GR and Amazon did. They have a huge database.that's getting bigger. You can search via isbn, title or author. BC does not do this.Īdd an ebook file: You have to go through multiple steps to add ebook files to BC and you can only do that from "home." I can't do any screenshots because I'm not on my home machine.Īdding a book: regular - it's much easier to add a book via BC than Calibre if it is not an ebook. As far as I can tell, BC does not have that.ĭrag & Drop: You can do this with ebook files in Calibre. Find and manage all your collectorz software licenses, download links and subscriptions. The price being one of them, lol! Calibre - being open source - has a lot of plug ins. Here are some key features of collectorz movie llectorz movie collector catalog your dvds automatically, no typing needed.movie collector pro is a professional software application designed to.log in with your clz account. There is a major difference between BC and Calibre. Standard info also includes things like price - which would be a self-created category in Calibre. There's a lot of info that you have a chance to catalog and detail. O_o I got the pro version and its even more powerful. Here's a copy of a post I made somewhere else about it: Only.Calibre doesn't have a book database and this one does. I looked at the book collector but having Calibre I didn't get it."
